Glossary of Terms
- One Location
- This means that once we arrive at a pre-selected location, we don't need to drive to any other location to complete the shoot. All set-ups are within walking distance.
- Multiple Settings
- Once we arrive at the pre-selected location, we have the opportunity to choose from all the various areas within walking distance (time permitting).
- Logo-Imprinted
- Proofs do not have any imprinting on the surface of the print.
- 10.2 mega Pixel
- My digital camera CCD captures enough information to make very large prints without degrading the image quality. You'll be amazed.
- Online Ordering
- Online ordering is available from LabPrints or Kodak ProShots. All ordering sites require passwords and transactions are secure. All you need is an up-to-date browser and a reasonably fast internet connection.
- Metallic Surface
- This is a special photographic paper that has a stunning surface quality. Images appear to have a 3D effect, more depth and richness.
- Digital Black & White
- Digital B/W can come from either a color image that has had the colors converted to their equivalent brightness value on a scale from white to black, or from an image that captured the image in black and white. One of the wonderful things about digital photography is that it allows the photographer to enhance the image with special effects, like a colorful bouquet in a black and white image. All Digital black and white prints are printed on the same kind of paper as a color reprint.
- True Black & White
- This means that the image is shot with black and white film and reproduced in the traditional manner, with black and white photographic paper.
- Fine Art Print
- This means that the image is printed on archival, high-quality, ink-jet media. Several paper surfaces are available from canvas to metalic. These prints are more expensive, but you will notice the difference. If you want to display a large, framed print, a fine art print may be what you need.
